THEN - 1980

• 20% of women have a repeat abortion
• 73% abortions occur after the 8th week

• Less than 10% married women choosing abortion

NOW - 2009

• 60% of women have a repeat abortion
• 68% of abortions before the 6th week

• Over the Counter Plan B pills
• 1,393,000 abortions performed
• 15% teenagers choosing abortion

Implications of Statistical Data
In order to make abortion an unnecessary choice, our challenge is to get women coming in on a regular basis so that we can effectively change their lives and hearts.

With the majority of abortions occurring before the 8th week, we cannot solely rely on ultrasounds to empower women because you cannot see a baby clearly before the 9th week.

With the Plan B pill being readily available as well as pending legislations to restrict abortions even further, we must work on the assumptions of the industry for the next 10 years. Becoming more professional in services as well as opening more centers should be in the forefront of our thought.

Our initiatives for the next ten years will focus on building Wise Biblical Women so that abortion will not be a viable option for women in unplanned pregnancies. We will concentrate on the following initiatives in order to make our vision a reality.
